THANKS! First, thanks to all the wives that helped out with the picnic. It was a great success! Also, a special thanks goes out to Gerald Mishoe and the Peer Support Team. As we told our husbands, Gerald is our #1 fan and has given our group more support than we can express or repay. We would like to thank God and our 9 angels for holding off the rain until after everything was over. Thanks to Capt Fuzzy for cooking. Last thanks to all the businesses and individuals in the community that offered their services - City of Charleston for the use of Brittlebank Park, Piggy Wiggly, The Sportsman Shop, R&R Screen Printing, The Fun Bus, All Mist, Snyder Rental, WEZL, BiLo, Walmart, Subway, Buffalo South, Coke, Roberts Sign Company, The Riverdogs, Carolina Children's Charity, etc...as well as all other business and individuals that donated auction items! Support from the community is vital for us to be able to host events like this for our husbands as well as all CFD firefighters and their families.
Thanks to Schumacher for your continued support!
We are in the process of putting together a cookbook. Email your favorite recipe to us! We are going to have a cookbook made with recipes from wives, family, friends, etc. of the CFD! We are hoping to have this done in the next few months! You do NOT have to be a CFD wife to send a recipe, so please start sharing! Deadline to share your favorite recipe is July 10th!
The July meeting will be canceled due to the Fire Expo in Myrtle Beach.
